I have a problem in defining a metal type on the BPM. How shall it be defined.
And what if I have a file to import. How shall this be done?
Thanks.
The beam propagation method is not suitable for simulations involving metals (or any simulation with large reflections!), we do allow electrodes for the Kerr effect, but they must not interact directly with the optical field.
If you want to perform some type of plasmon simulation you are better off using our OptiFDTD product to simulate it.

Thank you very much for your clarification, Damian! The question was interesting!
