Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello, can anyone please help me. I’ve been stuck in this error for so long. I tried co-simulate the matlab component with optisystem but ends up error while calculating the matlab component. Please, I really need your help.
Dear Saiful,
Please check the setting of the output port in the Matlab component in terms of electrical, optical, binary or M-ary. Also, not that it has to match the definition of the port in the Matlab code.
Please refer to the Example Library located at the following link for more information on how to setup the ports in the component and in the Matlab code.
