in tutorial 10, used electrode was manually defined. can we use these electrode in tutorial 14, in mach zehnder interferometer instead of electrode region?
Tutorial 10 and 14 use different simulators and interface. it is not possible to mix them. One can use the approach of 10, or of 14, but not both at once. Mach Zehnder interferometer can be demonstrated both ways.
Yes, you can use the electrode of tutorial 10 in a Mach Zehnder interferometer. You will need two 3 dB couplers, the outputs of the first one connected to the inputs of the other. Put the electrode of tutorial 10 in one of those paths. This is an MZI.
