Please suggest me how to generate electrical LFM (Chirp) signal using Optisystem.
what do u mean by LFM?
Linear Frequency modulation .I would like to add LFM signal and QPSK signal and then to modulated optically.Please suggest me a solution in optisystem.
In OptiSystem, you can define the chirp of the optical pulse. chirp might be linear or measured.
choose, any kind of optical pulse like optical Gaussian pulse and in Chirp tab, you can define it.

you can use matlab/C++ component to generate it.

Thank you very much.With reference to the your reply…can you guide me how I can give a matlab output to optisystem. as i want to give LFM and PRBS signal to add and give to Modulator to simulate the signal in optical fiber for simulation.
