Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

suppose i want to plot the graph between the length of channel and MAX quality factor at say 1GBPS, 2GBPS, 5 GBPS, and 10 GBPS.
for this i first provide sweep for fiber length of fiber (channel) and simulate it. THEn i plot the results using optigraph and export the data or graph in the .TXT format.
after simulation is done for each of the data rates. I imported all the previous graphs on the single OPTIgraph.
BUT I AM UNABLE TO PROVIDE EACH GRAPH WITH DIFFERENT COLOUR AND LEGEND.
how to do it?(or is this possible in optisystem?)
Hi Aasif,
From the answer given by Optiwave team to a query about such an issue before, my perception is that such a thing is not possible in OptiSystem. Please regard the link that I am providing on the issue:

thanks for ur reply
therefore I think it is better to plot the graphs in excel or using matlab with use of text file(from the results taken).
