Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello! I want to create a pulse laser with wavelength 1064nm,f=30KHz, dt=60ps.I don’t find the field for wavelength and if I set the frequency 30KHz, I can’t continue because I recived an Error. Also, I tried to put f=1064, but the signal is not what I want. Can you help me, please?
I try to attach a photo with the signal( I hope that I understand these data for do the signal)
Thank you!
Hello Maria,
you need to build a pulsed laser using passive or active mode-locked laser. There are few examples on mode-locked laser technologies in OptiSystem. You may use them to design your laser. You need to use the proper doped fiber and pump wavelength to create the required lasing wavelength.

Ahmad
