Hi all,
Optisystem vectors and arrays have a specific formats that have to be taken into consideration when using Matlab as external software. In former versions of OS, it was possible to load Matlab before starting the simulation to have access to the workspace after the calculations are done, but in the new version, the option “Run Matlab as shared” doesn’t work in the same way. Is there any way to keep the command window open so as to have access to the produced Matlab arrays? Thank you in advance!
Regards
Dear Ali,
This issue occurred after Matlab version 18.b. The issue is resolved in OptiSystem version 16.1, which is available now.
Regards,
Ahmad
Great! Thank you very much Ahmad.
