please help I am not getting which block to use for I/Q modulator.
find the attached image.

blue line electrical field
With regards
Hi Dhiman,
I cannot see you attached file, but I think you are referring to the same image as the one you uploaded in the other topic. For this purpose, you may use Quadrature Modulator/Demodulator, which could be found at the transmitter/receiver library in the modulator/demodulator section.
Regards
Hi alistu, Thanks for your help but I need optical modulator and there is only electrical quadrature modulator.
I have attache again the screenshot.
with Regards
You’re right, sorry about it. I will look into it again and let you know if I could help.
I just made this component from one of our examples. You can create a subsystem and then save it as a component file. Take a look at the attached pictures. One thing I just noticed however is the amplitude of the incoming signal will have to be carefully chosen depending on your QAM type, since this modulator is setup for 16 QAM.
You can Import the attached component file if our versions of OptiSystem are compatible and use it in your project. (File->Import->Component)
Regards
Dear Damian, Thanks a lot.
