Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello everyone,
I am trying to import a ring resonator from matlab to optisystem for my project. I followed the available resources and formats to structure input port and output port. But when I simulated it, neither I am getting any error nor I it provides me any transmission response from optisystem. I can simulate the resonator in matlab and got the response. I need to sweep the power of laser and see the transmission response of the ring in Optisystem. Should I define the input in terms of Input.Parameterized.Power for this situation in the matlab code or is there any other way to call the power sweeping from laser to matlab component? Please give me your valuable suggestions on it.
Thanks.
