Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

how can i plot gain v/s wavelength in 2d plot
This page in optiwave forum is forums > FIBER. It is for the product OptiFiber. OptiFiber does not include EDFA. Software that can model this device is found in OptiSystem. Please post your question on the page forums >SYSTEM. There it is more likely to be seen by someone who knows the answer to your question. 🙂
Dear Asifiqbak,
You could access the results of all components in your project through the “Project Browser”. You need to select the component and expand the fields to see the results or graphs fields. Then you would use the proper data in your plotting. I recommend you going through tutorials for more information on plotting.
