Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Dear Members
I am using two CW laser sources. I want to inquire how can i use two forks at a time.
I have set 1 fork but unable to use 2nd one.
Please find the system picture in attachment
Best Regards
You can connect with ground or null point for other fork
Thanx Dear Ajay Vyas
But if i connect ground then what is the use of 2nd fork???
I can directly connect NRZ pulse generator with MZM modulator???
Hi Abdullah,
I’m not sure what the cause of this is, but I find sometimes the fork ports can get corrupted. Generally I get around this by deleting the forks and reconnecting. Let me know if this helps.
