I want to perform FTTH simulation using 1×2, 1×4, and 1×8 splitters. I want to ask if I need to add loss to each splitter or if the splitter already reduces the loss by default? because when I input a loss of 10.35 dB according to the data sheet on the 1×8 splitter, the signal becomes very large. Thank you.
