I designed an optical communication link using MATLAB component and loaded the MATLAB code into it from another computer but it is not working. Please how can I make it work? I only have optisystem on the computer. Do I need to install MATLAB software on the computer too?

To be able to run the Matlab code in OptiSystem Matlab component, the Matlab software must be located on the same computer that has OptiSystem.
