Hi,
I have designed a fiber profile using optifiber, now I want to do the DMD calculation of the same fiber using optisystem, I have exported the file in optifiber as .dat file and try to import it in optisystem but it is showing the file format is bad. Then I have saved the file as .txt, then also it is not imported in optisystem.

You can load files with specific parameters into the single mode and multimode fiber components in OptiSystem. These parameters could be attenuation, GVD, Aeff, n2, etc… for SMF and modal delays for Linear Multimode Fiber component, refractive index profile for Measured-Index Multimode Fiber, and so on….
Please check the datasheet for the format of the file and units.
