      Hi ,

I want to simulate a simple indoor LiFi link in OptiSystem using OFDM modulation. My goal is to design something like this :

PRBS → OFDM Modulator → LED → LOS Optical Wireless Channel → Photodiode → OFDM Demodulator → BER Analyzer.

      Hi,

I want to simulate a simple indoor LiFi link in OptiSystem using OFDM modulation. My intended system is:

PRBS → OFDM Modulator → LED → LOS Optical Wireless Channel → Photodiode → OFDM Demodulator → BER Analyzer

      My questions are:

Which OptiSystem components are required for an OFDM-based LiFi system?
Some components cannot connect directly (e.g., OFDM output → LED, electrical → optical), so I need guidance on the correct block chain and any required intermediate components (biasing, amplifiers, filters, etc.).

How should I correctly evaluate BER at the receiver?

      Hello Mustafa,

In order to proceed further and provide you with the most relevant information and support, I would appreciate it if you could share a few additional details about yourself:
      • University/Company:
      • Job Title:
      • University/Company Email:
      • Phone Number:

Also, if you already have a license for OptiSystem then please send me the license number. we have built a system for such application which we only share with our paid customers.

If possible, can you please share the project file (in a zipped format) for the simulation? It will be helpful for us to understand your simulation system. You can also check the OFDM examples in OptiSystem Example library and modify it for LiFi using the LOS Channel component.

Please share all the above information at support@optiwave.com

      Warm Regards,
      Saurabh Bedi.
