Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello,
I was following the tutorial of OptiFDTD to plot the dispersion diagram of 2D defect line PBG structure(super cell 5×5, the line in the middle is removed as a defect line.), and the result is attached as file 2.
I was expecting to get a clear defect-mode line inside the bandgap region which is similar to the plot shown in file 1. However, I failed to get so plot no matter what I did with OptiFDTD. Please help me to figure out what the problem is.
Thank you very much!
Kai.
File 1 was not attached properly, so I am uploading the plot here.
