I am new to OptiFDTD, and as I asked in the title I would like to know how do I excite a dipole antenna in OptiFDTD, specifically I need to excite the dipole in the gap, What should I use then ?
Hello Lorenzo,
Dipoles through the OptiFDTD product are achieved through strategic uses of point sources. You will note that if you have a point source with Ex polarization you will have a dipole within the Ey field.
Scott
Thank you so much
