Is it possible to make chirped gratings and apodized gratings in OptiFDTD using ‘PBG crystal structure’ option? If yes, then how?
Hello Manoranjan,
It may be possible but would highly depend on the function you are using to describe the chirping or apodization. The more effective robust solution for this application would be to use the scripting capabilities to build your grating. There are instruction in the manuals for the vb scripts and there is the ability to generate a script from layout which can be used as a starting point.
