I have a general question about optisystem global parameters(default) if I want to design a system to carry e.g.10Gb/s but global parameters have their own default value(e.g data rate value).does it affect my simulation result??.I look forward to the healthy discussion.

sure it will affect the simulation results,
you can change the default parameters to any value you want and you have to relate the parameters of the project properly to get correct results.
