Hi,
I was trying to simulate generating petal beams by combining 2 LG modes and vortex phase plates.
I should be able to generate donut beams using a LG00 Mode beam and passing it through the vortex plate, but I still get a regular Gaussian beam power profile in the spatial visualizer.
The Phase looks correct, but if there’s a phase singularity in the origin, shouldn’t there be no power there as well?
I can create donut beams using LG01 and no Vortex phase plate, but when combining, the output power profile is still incorrect.
Thanks,
Watson
