Hi every one.
i am creating FWM effect with nonlinear parameter (gamma) 9.1/Km W. what value i will choose for Aeff (effective area) and n2 (nonlinear coefficient index) in Optical fiber properties.
when i put gamma (Y) =9.1 in equation Y = 2*Pi n2 / Lmda*Aeff and Aeff is default value 80 um^2 in optisim i get n2 = 1.7x 10^-10
when i set this n2 value in optisem program running upto one day and didnt end.
2ndly when i fixed n2 as default value and find Aeff through above equation which is 11.6×10^-12 same condition occurred.
how i will achieved gamma = 9.1 value ? plz help.
