Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello guys!
I’m trying to simulate an single longitudinal mode laser based on a compound cavity. My idea is to create an optical cavity with fiber ring subcavities but I can’t discretize the modes within a simple loop. It is possible to simulate these cavities in Optisystem? Do you know any examples?
Thank you all! 🙂
Dear Samuel,
please check the examples in OptiSystem Example Library located at the following link, which are used for CW and pulsed lasers generation.
