Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hi Everyone,
1.My first question is how to bend a Multimode and single mode fiber In the Optisystem?….after bending there will be some loss in information(Light).so in order to collect the information i want to place convex lens to collect information.
2.So my second question is how to connect the lens and recieved fiber?(how light ray will enter into the fiber core part?)
Hi Sai,
1.you can use power splitter to emulate the fiber bending loss and collect the loss based on your estimation!
2. There are Thin Lens that you can use and connect it to the fiber ports.
Hope that helps and is clear,
