I want to monitor the Q Factor and BER values from the eye diagram analyser and compensate chromatic dispersion accordingly in a 16 channel WDM system. How to employ the new machine learning component in Optisystem for achieving this objective?
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
If you want to monitor the Q-factor and the BER values from the eye-diagram then I urge you to look at the tutorial on Machine Learning on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kg_MhuhXs94
It’s a detailed tutorial on how to train the model based on the parameters, and the results from the BER. This will surely help you to understand how to implement the Machine Learning.
You can find the example file (Lesson 4) for it at location: C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\OptiSystem 22.0 Samples\Introductory tutorials
Let me know if you still have questions.
Warm Regards,
Saurabh Bedi.
