How can i know the refractive index of the grating?
and also the pitch, the width of each grating ?

You mean the fiber index or the effective index? You can set the fiber index in the Fiber Parameters, and after this, the effective index can be calculated in the Mode Parameters. Then you can define the grating pitch and some other parameters on the Grating Parameters.
Just do it step by step.

The well-known FBG equation, => Lambda = 2 * pitch * Neff.
The Neff is the effective mode of the fiber or the effective index of the grating region?
It is the effective index of mode of the fiber.

So, i have to find the effective mode of the fiber without grating.
By the way, any effect of the grating width to FBG? (the size of each grating, not the pitch/lattice constant between the grating)

how to connect between Optical Grating and Optisystem.
I exported file (FBG.txt) from Optigrating, but I can not import it into optisystem, please help me, thanks so much !
