Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiSystem is a comprehensive software design suite that enables users to plan, test, and simulate optical links in the transmission layer of modern optical networks.
OptiInstrument addresses the needs of researchers, scientists, photonic engineers, professors and students who are working with instruments.
OptiSPICE is the first circuit design software for analysis of integrated circuits including interactions of optical and electronic components. It allows for the design and simulation of opto-electronic circuits at the transistor level, from laser drivers to transimpedance amplifiers, optical interconnects and electronic equalizers.
OptiFDTD is a powerful, highly integrated, and user friendly CAD environment that enables the design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. Perform guiding, coupling, switching, splitting, multiplexing, and demultiplexing of optical signals in photonic devices.
The optimal design of a given optical communication system depends directly on the choice of fiber parameters. OptiFiber uses numerical mode solvers and other models specialized to fibers for calculating dispersion, losses, birefringence, and PMD.
Emerging as a de facto standard over the last decade, OptiGrating has delivered powerful and user friendly design software for modeling integrated and fiber optic devices that incorporate optical gratings.

Hi everybody,
I was trying to simulate OFDM in OptiSystem 14. But I get an error message, whose snapshot is attached herein. Did anybody encounter such problem? Please help me to solve this problem. I didn’t encounter this problem in other examples but only in OFDM.
Thanks.
Hi Gokul Boro,
i guess there is some logical error. I would suggest you to check if you are connecting your visualizer in correct domain. I have never encountered such problem. I am myself designing a system based on OFDM.
Hi Gokul,
I have worked with OFDM component in older OptiSystem versions and have not encountered the problem you are referring to. Could you please upload your .osd file so that I would be able to check? Thank you.
Regards
Hi everyone,
Thank you for responding to this topic. I tried this on Optisystem 14 version. I took the one from sample examples. I could not solve the problem. But I uninstalled and reinstalled and now the problem is solved.
hi Boro,
It is definitely an optisystem bug that you encountered. Thanks for sharing about resolution of the problem. It helps in a big way and Bigtime.
Cheers!
You are welcome Mr. aabid baba. Hoping to get help and responses from everyone in future too. Thank you
Hi Aabid baba..Yes, thanks for telling us the it must have been an Optisystem bug.Sure Optisystem gets a bit wonky at times.
Regards.
you are welcome Naajira
