Hello,
I am injecting jitter to my signal and would like to know what is the jitter frequency parameter in Electronic jitter component from library.
Would like to know what frequency to choose in simulation relative to my bit rate(100Gbps).
Have seen tutorial using 100MHz but just dont understand how this frequency were chosen.
I was thinking that the jitter frequency should be set to around my bit rate but I guess this is not correct
Thanks for the help.
I guess, I understand now.
The frequency in the jitter component has to do with intermodulation, which it will mix the bitrate frequency and the jitter frequency and create side band to the fundamental signal.
