Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

How to design DP MZM in optisystem?
Thank you
Hello,
You may check the datasheet of the “optical DP-16-QAM Transmitter” component. It describe the structure of the DP MZM that is used for in the component for DP-16QAM system. You may access the datasheet from the help button in the component property.
Regards,
Ahmad
Thank you for your reply. Actually, I want Dual parallel MZM (DP MZM) as a wavelength shifter. But the DPMZM design you have suggested doesn’t give wavelength shift. What parameter should I change to get shifted wavelength?
I am not aware of a MZM can cause shift in the modulated signal wavelength.
Could you please email me at ahmad.atieh@optiwave.com a reference for such device?
regards,
Ahmad
