Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

I am a student and Beginner to FDTD simulations. While trying to follow the manual manual- Getting Started part, I couldnt follow step 8 in page no 127. I was unable to find components for post simulation analysis under the DFT section. Did I miss something? Please help.
Krishna,
Can you please confirm what version of the product you are using? This manual is from 2013 and is left there for users using that version of the product. For learning the product we have a number of excellent introductory videos/webinars available here under the support menu. I strongly recommend you check those out as they are using the current product.
Scott
Thank you very much. The product version is 15.0.1.1696. Yes I will follow the Introductory videos.
