After the last update to 13.0.3, CUD GPU is not working anymore. I cannot check the CUDA options since Optisystem is saying that “cudaGetDeviceCount returned 35 ->CUDA driver version is insufficient for CUDA runtime version”.
      I have a nVidia GeForce GTX 460.

      Thank you for your support.

Thanks Damian. I am now downloading the latest nVidia driver to see if this fixes the issue.

Hi Damian, after upgrading the GPU drivers CUDA works, so the issue is solved.

Hi Damian, I am wondering if I should expect any improvement in CUDA acceleration after this 13.0.3 upgrade, or if the need of new drivers was not for increasing the speed of simulations.

I don’t expect there to be much difference. We have already enabled CUDA for the main functions where a parallel approach would be faster than a serial. We do keep the CUDA versions up to date and the newer versions require newer device drivers as you found out, NVIDIA might have changed the performance of their code/drivers.
