Dear Friends
Hope you all fine
Please let me know is cross-talk among fiber modes in multimode fiber exists or not? If exits, then how we incorporate this effect in optisystems?Which parameters of multimode fiber should be checked?
I will be highly thankful to all of you
regards
Dear Muhammad,
Yes, energy is transferred between modes in the optical fiber and causes modal dispersion as crosstalk.
the models in OptiSystem handles that. There are few examples in OptiSystem 16.1 that addresses these issue.
