Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

I work on the example Located in the “OptiSystem – Hot Topics/Optical OFDM Design – Direct and Coherent Detection”
I am trying to connect the third and fourth channels to WDM but I can’t calculate the “delay compensation” in OFDM Demodulation
as shown in the file attached to the E-mail message.
The BER is incorrect value and I don’t solve this
Can anyone help me and correct my work, please
Regards
Dear Alaa,
which version of OptiSystem are you using for these projects? I couldn’t open the files using version 17.1
Regards,
Ahmad
I am using version 17.1 , you can work directly on example Located in the “OptiSystem – Hot Topics/Optical OFDM Design – Direct and Coherent Detection”
