Can anyone suggest a new method for chromatic dispersion compensation?

Dispersion compensation is done by opposite dispersion of the system. In general,
Length_NormalDispersionFiber*NormalDispersion + Length_AnomalousDispersionFiber*AnomalousDispersion ~ 0
