In carrier suppressed modulation format,the carrier is suppressed in order to save the power.But if carrier gets suppressed then how will the message be transmitted at the receiver side.Carrier in optisystem is given by a cw laser which is simply a light source.Suppose,carrier gets eliminated then light will not be pass into the fiber.Can anyone deeply explain about the process that happens in this modulation format???
