Hello
everyone
Here I have a problem about Brillouin back Scattering in bidirectional HNL fiber.
I connected a CW Laser to the input port at transmitter side , a null to the input port at receiver side and an optical power meter and an optical spectrum analyzer to the two output ports.
I choose the “Brillouin scattering” in my fiber to calculate and max power reference on 1000 mW.
I sweep the pump power of the CW laser from 20-20.8 dBm. as expected, when I increase the pump power, the back scatter power increases from -32 to 12.39 dBm. Unless when the pump power reaches 20.62 dBm and more, where the back scatter pump drops down to -100 dBm.
the .osd file is attached. thank you for your help.
