if i am getting Bit Error Rate 10^-66 in 16-channel EDFA-WDM system…..I want to know is that bit error rate is good or not…I got bEr 10 the power -66.plz reply me.
A bit error rate of 10^-66 is very good! The BER is calculated as the number of errors divided by the total number of bits. So for your BER, the system may encounter a single bit error for 10^66 bits transmitted. This number is so large you might never encounter a bit error.
