Hi all,
I need to set bias voltage Vpi/2. so for LiNb MZM how can I set the same or how much bias voltage need to give to have pi/2 phase shift. is there any mathematical formula. I have attached the paper. please kindly go through.

in the paper MZDI (mach-Zehnder delay interferometer) is used.
Is it same as delay interferometer block that is available in optisystem.

If you are asking about the delay interferometer in optical section of the Optisystem filters library, it seems so. The explanation on the technical background states that interference is based on the phase differences between the two arms of the interferometer, and this is the same function as that of a MZDI.

Oh, that means I can use delay interferometer in the demodulation part of the circuit in the attached pdf.
