Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hi Optiwave Team,
In your site, you have mentioned the plot of BER vs OSNR briefly by using Nested paprameters. Can you explain in details how we can plot this graph by using nested parameters ?
Hi Sushank,
There is an explanation of how to do this in the Help section on the BER Test Set component. There is also a section on Nested Parameter Sweeps in the User Reference guide.
hi friend su;
osnr is related on power so make sweep on power then u can get of each power a value of osnr so u have two columns osnr, ber u have just to plot them
Thanks Sofien !! 🙂
