Dear All,
I am trying to implement a bidirectional fiber transmission system. In bidirectional transmission we need to add optical circulators and optical delay elements in optiwave design. For proper execution we need to keep the ‘iteration parameter’ in ‘global parameter’ > 1.
If the iteration parameter is equal to 4, it will execute the system 4 times and will generate 4 different result instances.
However, to my notice, the BER test set does not execute 4 times, it just gets executed once and thus bidirectional transmission is not possible with use of BER test set.
Please help.
That is unfortunate! This is definitely a bug, I’ll let the OptiSystem team know. You might want to switch to using a BER Analyzer to find the BER for this case now.
I am using BER test set for bidirectional OFDM system. When I try to replace BER test Set with PRBS generator, the results are not correct. The New OFDM design works fine only with BER test set.
How to proceed furthur?
