I have noted that, while BER Analzyer allows to see FEC BER (with also a user defined FEC), the BER Test Set only has Standard BER without error correction. Is there any way to use a user-defined FEC with the Test Set? I did not find that parameter in the component.
Unfortunately, you would need to incorporate this with a Matlab component. The BER Analyzer estimates the FEC gain or power margin, but does not actually implement FEC.

Thank you Damian. I will use some external routine to calculate FEC BER vs Raw BER. I think it would be useful in next release to add this possibility inside OptiSystem itself.
