Dear Researchers
please let me know while calculating BER analysis of an optical link,we have connect one input of the BER analyser to the PRBS generator and other reference input of the BER to the gaussian pulse generator(electrical) and third input port of the BER analyser to the output of photodetector.
In my simulation of monocycle pulse generation, when i follow the above mentioned connections of the BER analyser, then BER analyser do not show any results.
When i connect the output of the photodetector to a gaussian LPF and then connect the output of the gaussian LPF to the third input of the BER analyser, the BER analyser shows results and plots and eye diagrams.
what is the difference between both the connections and why in first connection(without LPF)the BER do not show any result?
regards
jawad mirza
hey,muhammad jawad,it’s me
i think that the consequece of bit erro rate is high in your first connection,so that without result.
dear
i have obtained the desired results
so this issue had solved
