Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello all,
I’m new to using Optisystem and I’m trying to get a better understanding of the modulation techniques available within the software. Specifically, I’m interested in implementing OOK and BPSK modulation schemes.
Could anyone guide me on how to set up these modulation techniques in Optisystem? Any tips, tutorials, or advice on best practices would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help.
Dear Ahmed,
I recommend checking OptiSystem Example Library especially the folder (Advanced modulation systems). It has examples on most of the modulation schemes. You may find OptiSystem Example Library at the location C:\Users\USER NAME\Documents\OptiSystem 21.1 Samples\. Also, you may search the over than 1000 examples in the example library for your topic using key words.
Regards,
Ahmad
