hi,for the Rayleigh backscattering in bidirectional fiber,how many scattering dots are there? thank you
Hi Zhuang,
the Rayleigh backscattering model is now based on the coupled power not on scattering dots inside the fiber.
please have a look at the manual you will find the equations used in calculations in terms of Rayleigh scattering coefficient.
