Hello
I have written a scanning script that changes the radius of a feature, does the simulation and spits out the respective analyzer document. However, I need to export the Ey DFT.f3d file for Matlab processing. I am currently going through each of the file and exporting it manually. And this task is getting a bit tedious. I was wondering if there is a script to export the .f3d files right after the simulation is done. Can anyone please help me?
Thanks
Anand Kadiyala
Unfortunately, at the present time there is no scripting support for exporting functionality for the Analyzer. The only method is to export it manually.
Hi!
I am interested in doing the same thing. Anand: Did you find any solution to this problem? Damian: Has there come any solution for this?
Thank you,
Christopher
Christopher,
As of OptiFDTD 13 and up we do have the ability to script the export of the DFT information as an f3d file. I have attached a zip file that contains a design file with a script that will accomplish this. Note it is a 3D simulation.
