can any one help me to implement ASk and PSK modulation under optisystem.

Hi Gherbi,
For the ASK modulation implementation, you can simply refer to the “Radio over Fiber SCM ASK” example in OptiSystem sample files. You can also find plenty of examples regarding PSK systems in the “PSK Systems” folder in OptiSystem sample files. These files have been prepared with the aim of helping better understanding of these systems and how to implement them in OptiSystem.

The example you have mentioned uses a 3R generator, but what if we want to retrieve the original binary sequence after amplitude demodulator ?
We would have to connect a threshold detector and M-ary pulse generator ?
And what will be the threshold settings for threshold detector ?
Hi Jamal,
The 3R generator is used to regenerate the received signal in the way you probably know. If it is not there, you can simply use BER analyzer without adding any other component; You would just have to connect the first port of the BER analyzer to binary input data, the second to the binary data after passing through a pulse generator and the third one to the output port of the amplitude demodulator.
