Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

HI, I want to analyze the effect of different line coding technique on WDM . For that I use the AMI line coding technique but I am not getting the output with the circuit I have made .I request u to kindly help me to rectify this issue.
The Optisystem file is attached with this mail for your reference.
Hello Shivam,
As I’ve explained to you in separate email. Due to the using of AMI coding, the signal bandwidth increased (almost doubled), which affected the signal quality after passing through 10GHz MUX/DEMUX. Thus the MUX/DEMUX filters bandwidth needs to be increased (40-50GHz). As a result of that effect, the 100GHz channels spacing caused also the signal quality to suffers from neighboring channel due to interference. Much better performance can be achieved if you use 200GHz channel spacing.
Regards,
Ahmad
