      need more information about ACG amplifier and its used

      Hi Moataz,

      Are you talking about an Automatic Control Gain amplifier here? If that is the case then the ACG amplifier is used in the receiver’s gain/correction circuits in order to maintain a relative constant output signal. It is widely implemented in radio receiver circuits (you can find more specific information and examples about it online). Please, specify your question for more elaboration.

      I add to Ravil’s answer that ACG (or AGC) is also used often in EDFA amplifiers for WDM systems, to keep a constant gain. This allows to add/drop channels and maintain a constant output power/channel.
