Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Can anybody help me Matlab code for AF based FSO comm with pointing errors? I need BER Vs SNR curve.
Any help will be of great help to me. Thanking in advance.
Hello Sulekha,
What do you mean by AF?
Do you have a reference paper on the related topic? please email it to me at ahmad.atieh@optiwave.com
OptiSystem has capabilities to create reports with BER versus OSNR or SNR. This can be done in the report page.
regards,
Ahmad
@Ahmad Atieh, AF means amplify and forward relying based FSO Communication. According to my understanding, i think finding a matlab code for AF FSO will be difficult.Better to check “Matlab central File exchange”
regards
@ahmad sir, AF means Amplify and forward relay and I don’t want to simulate it on optiSystem. I just wanted to validate my calculated BER, so thought to simulate the scenario on Matlab.
@muhammad sir, I did not get any clue on “Matlab central File exchange” so thought to contact the people working on it.
Thanks for the kind response.
Regards.
