Dear optisystem forum Participant,
Whent through the simulation work with this title “Active Mode Locked Fiber Laser” in optisystem 18. In the design component buffer selector, the number of iteration is 400 or when the script iteration-1=”selection” is 399. How this number of iteration is adjusted. I couldn’t find this iteration in the layout of “Set total Sweep iteration is still beginning with 1. or parameter sweeps was inactive. How this hide sweeps are adjusted

Usually, the Signal Iteration parameter that you set in the Global (Layout) Parameter properties window under “Signals” tab sets the number of round trips in the laser cavity. You could reduce this number and check the laser out and verify your needs. it is not necessary to have 400 iterations.
