      Hi,

I am trying to optimize the 90 degree bend of rectangular buried channel waveguides through a 2D model and calculate the bend loss. The width of the waveguides is ~ 10umX10um, with a small refractive index difference (~0.075). The radius of curvature (Rc) is quite large, >2mm. Due to the large Rc, the memory requirement is very high if i use the suggested grid sizes fro space and time. With smaller grid sizes, the computation doesnt show any results at all! Would appreciate it if someone could suggest an optimum way to perform these simulations, and the relevant quantities that i should calculate.
